Echo Canyon Vineyard & Winery was founded by Jon R. Marcus in 1997. We have sought to become Northern Arizona’s # 1 winery and in fact, our wines are available at most of Sedona and Flagstaff’s premier dining and wine establishments.

Our grapevines are descendents of award winning winegrape clones and they are grown using organic and biodynamic techniques. We have a 10-acre vineyard on Oak Creek between Sedona & Page Springs already established and we are developing an 80-acre site near Dos Cabezas WineWorks, called Crop Circle Vineyard.

The Oak Creek site is unique and beautiful. It lies in the bend of Oak Creek with a 700-foot natural cliff wall to the North & East. Its soils are made up of minerals from the House Mountain Volcano and the river environment, adding a unique taste to these wines (terroir). Our wines have made it onto Award Winning Wine Lists, most notably, Mustards Restaurant, in the heart of Napa Valley, and Sierra Mar, the grand award winning restaurant at Post Ranch Inn, Big Sur. Noted sommelier and restaurateur Tony Perault, has stated “Marcus’ Cabernet Franc, Zinfandel & Syrah rival the best of California wines with the 2001 Cabernet Franc besting the Best of California”.

As yet, our winery does not have a tasting room and is not open to the public for tours.
