Keeling-Schaefer Vineyards

Located in the south east corner of Arizona 12 miles South of the Chiricahua National Monument, one mile east of Arizona State Route 181, mile post 52, on Rock Creek Lane.

In 1999, we located and purchased 18 acres on Rock Creek at the foot of the Chiricahua Mountains. At 5000 feet above sea level, the summer climate of warm, sunny days and cool, high desert nights combines with the sandy red soils to grow Rhone varieties that impart the special Cochise County characteristics. Our vision is a modest estate property, like those in Provence and Tuscany, with vineyard in the front and winery and house in the back. A quiet place far from the city, where one’s life plays out along with the wine season. The Winery was built in 2003 and the vineyard planted to 8 acres of Syrah and Grenache Noir in 2004.
